I want to buy to use my 7-year-old son a laptop cheap enough to surf the Web, I have a tower TOP W / Intel Atom 270th Should I buy anti-virus? 512 MB and should be good enough for him to surf the Internet. I know nothing about computers!

No matter what CPU you have, you need to get the antivirus software for the team. He did not know Norton, but. You can use free programs like Avira, Avast or AVG.
